Why a bedtime story helps children fall asleep
A bedtime story is a small evening ritual that children look forward to. A regular story before sleep gives them a sense of security, settles their thoughts after a busy day and helps the body understand that it is time to rest.
Our bedtime stories are written so that the plot gradually slows down. There is adventure at the beginning, but the ending is always quiet, gentle and calm – exactly what you need just before the lights go out.
Read or listen? Both
You can read every story like a picture book right on the screen, or play it as an audio story with music and professional narration. Listening is ideal when you want to dim the lights and let your child fall asleep to the narrator’s voice.
The player also has a sleep timer, so the story fades out and stops on its own once your child is asleep. Most recordings are in Slovak, with more languages on the way; the text of every story is available in English.
Who our bedtime stories are for
The stories are meant for children aged roughly 3 to 10. Each story shows the recommended age and length, so it is easy to pick a short story for toddlers or a longer adventure for a school child.
All of our stories are original – our own story worlds, characters and songs that you will not hear anywhere else.
